DAV Public School, Krishna Vihar, established in the year 2012, is one of the important links in the glorious chain of DAV Educational Movement. It is a co-educational English medium school. It is a project school sponsored by SASAN POWER LTD (popularly known as RELIANCE POWER PROJECT), one of the biggest power projects in our country. The school started functioning from the session 2013-14. In its maiden session the school started as a primary school up to Std. V and enrolled 531 children of PAPs (Project Affected People) of SASAN POWER Ltd.. It has come up as a ray of hope in the society of those who have been deprived of quality education even after more than six decades of Independence.The Project not only provides free education to the children of PAPs but also provides them uniforms, text books and note books etc. free of cost. A team of dedicated members of staff is working hard to impart quality education based on vedic values and culture of the DAV institutions under the guidance of DAV College Managing Committee, New Delhi and strictly on the guidelines of CBSE for the all-round development of the children. Mr.Sanjay Kumar, the founder Principal of the school, is committed to make the school well equipped with all basic infrastructure to create a healthy and education friendly environment in the school by joining hands with the project authorities.
